Alison Woodley, RMT

Alison was born and raised in Ontario, lived in Vancouver for 7 years and has now arrived in the Okanagan.  She grew up dancing, which is where her passion for the human body started.  After graduating from the University of Toronto with a degree in Kinesiology, Alison moved to Vancouver.  While in Vancouver she found her love for massage and studied at the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy, graduating in 2012 from the 3000 hour program.  After graduating Alison practiced in North Vancouver, where she developed her skills which she now brings to Creekside Chiropractic.

Alison brings not only a therapeutic approach but also a relaxation component to her massages.  She will work deep into tight and stiff muscles and trigger points while providing a sense of relaxation.  Her goal is to address any aches and pains but also give patients an opportunity to unwind from the day or week.  Another passion is working with pregnant women, a passion which developed from being pregnant with her first son.  Alison also loves working with kids of all ages.  Often we forget how stressful growing up can be both physically and emotionally and massage is a great way for kids to unwind from their anxieties and growing pains.

Alison comes to the Okanagan with her young family looking forward to enjoying camping, hiking, boating, snow shoeing, wine tasting and all that the Okangan has to offer!
